Studio Inconclusive celebrates its opening in Chichester

Studio Inconclusive has marked the formal opening of its recording studio at Chichester Enterprise Centre in West Sussex. Family, friends and supporters gathered to recognise the people who helped bring the space into use.

At Chichester Enterprise Centre on Terminus Road, founder Cadyn Lewis shared the new space with family, friends and supporters.

To everyone who came, helped build the room or made time to talk through an idea: thank you. It means a great deal to be able to share this next step with you.
The High Sheriff’s civic role
The High Sheriff of West Sussex is an independent, non-political, and voluntary royal appointment. The office represents the Crown for matters relating to the judiciary, law, and order, while acting as a high-profile champion for local communities and voluntary services. It is entirely unpaid.

The opening in Sussex Express
Separately, Mr Shipton is the Editor At Large of SussexWorld and its sister newspapers, reflecting his involvement with the titles dating back nearly half a century. That editorial role is distinct from the office of High Sheriff.
His Sussex Express report, published on 23 October 2026, describes the opening and Cadyn’s reasons for establishing the studio. It also acknowledges help from Chichester District Council and the people involved in building and equipping the room.
Part of Origins’ story in Chichester
Studio Inconclusive is the recording and production space associated with Origins Inconclusive, the independent record label and publisher founded by Cadyn Lewis. Cadyn also makes music as KDYN. The room gives that work a physical base in West Sussex.
Our September feature on the new creative home follows the room’s development and the start of bookings. This report records the formal opening and thanks the people who helped make it possible.
